‘Daughter of the Sea’ (winner of the Writers’ Guild Award 1996), and written by Sally’s mother Berlie Doherty, is a magical tale of a child plucked from the sea and the mysterious stranger who reclaims her; a spellbinding mixture of ancient stories from Scotland, Ireland and Iceland.
